Privacy overview

A plain-language summary of how DreamDecoded handles your data, based on what the app actually does today. It is not a formal legal policy.

Hosting and sign-in

DreamDecoded is built on Base44, which hosts the app, stores your data, and manages your sign-in and session. Your email and password are handled by that platform's authentication.

Private journal entries

Dreams you save are private to your account. They are not shown in the community, and moderators can only see what you publish.

AI reflections (on request only)

When you ask for a reflection, that dream's title, text, mood and tags are sent to an AI provider to generate possible readings. This only happens when you choose it; nothing is sent automatically. Your account details, other entries and shared posts are not included.

Sharing to the community

Sharing is opt-in and dream by dream. You preview exactly what becomes public — an edited excerpt, a display name you choose, and selected tags. Your AI reflection is only published if you turn that on separately.

What others can see

Shared posts, their comments and reactions are visible to anyone reading the community feed. Your private journal is never part of that.

Export and delete

You can download a file of everything linked to your account, or delete your account and all of its data, from Account & privacy at any time.

Not covered here

This overview does not include a formal privacy policy, data-retention guarantees, a legal entity, a contact address, or details about the underlying AI and hosting providers. Those need to be added by the app owner before any public launch that requires them.

Your dreams are private by default. Sharing is always a choice you make dream by dream.
